If it has stopped, leaks or displays a fault code, explain the symptoms first so we can discuss an assessment. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidance and avoid repeatedly operating equipment that appears unsafe. HOW WE CAN HELP
Our Essential Service is intended for a unit serviced within the last 12 months that runs well. Complete Service adds the indoor and outdoor coil treatments listed in our flyer and is our recommended annual option. Deep Clean involves dismantling and washing the indoor barrel, fan and coil, followed by reassembly and performance testing. Tell us about the unit’s condition, odours and cleaning history so we can discuss the appropriate package. Prices are including GST per indoor unit, so a home with several indoor units needs that distinction kept in mind.
Call to discussReduced heating or cooling, unusual sounds, water leaks, musty smells and visible dirt can indicate a need for attention. They do not all have the same cause, and cleaning is not a substitute for diagnosing a refrigeration or electrical fault. Note when the symptom occurs and whether the system behaves differently in heating and cooling modes. Share the make and model when you call. Do not remove covers, access electrical parts or attempt refrigerant repairs. If equipment appears unsafe, avoid using it while you arrange professional advice.
Call to discussRecord a fault code exactly as it appears, including any letters or flashing indicators. Codes vary by manufacturer and model, so an online code list cannot confirm what is wrong with your particular system. Explain when the issue began and any recent changes in performance. Assessment helps identify the fault and the available options before work proceeds. Parts availability, equipment age, condition and access can affect a repair quote. Call to discussEvaporative servicing includes a unit clean-out, water pan drainage and cleaning, fan cleaning and inspection, and tests of the pump, float and water lines. System performance and the controller or thermostat are checked as part of the service. The published single-storey and double-storey rates are including GST per system. Replacement pads are an additional cost and quoted separately, not included in the service price. Tell us your property’s storey count, unit details and any symptoms before booking. Do not climb onto the roof to inspect or work on the cooler yourself.
Call to discussAn older system does not automatically need replacement, and a repair is not always the most practical option. The diagnosed fault, overall condition, parts availability and the work required all matter. We discuss what is involved so you can compare the proposed repair with replacement where appropriate. New installations are individually quoted after a conversation and a site visit where needed. All electrical work is performed by a licensed electrician and included in quoted prices. Manufacturer warranty coverage depends on the relevant terms and approvals; it is not assumed from a symptom alone.

A good installation is only the start. If a fault develops inside the refrigeration circuit, you need someone whose qualifications and refrigerant handling licence cover diagnosis and repair — not just installation.
Electrical and refrigeration work are different skill sets. Some tradespeople hold both qualifications; the important question is which work their licence covers, rather than their job title.
